PRACTICAL EXERCISE


PART 1
1.-
Check the IP address of your Linux system.
2.- Check the Port number of your SSH service running on your Linux system.

PART 2

1.-
Install the SFTP Net Drive on your  windows machine.
2.-
Working with SFTP Net Drive, mount your Linux personal folder on your windows system using H: as the drive letter.
3.- Check the contents of your Linux personal folder from your windows host system.
4.- Working with SFTP Net Drive, create a folder called test4b and a file called test4b.txt on your Linux personal folder.
5.- On your Linux personal folder, create a file called test00_4b.txt. Copy the newly created file onto the Desktop of your windows host system.
6.- On your the Desktop of your Windows host system,  create a file called test01_4b.txt. Copy the newly created file onto your Linux personal folder.
7.- Working SFTP Net Drive, remove test4b.

PART 3
1.-
Install Filezilla Client on your windows machine.
2.-
Establish via Filezilla FTP, establish a connection with your Linux personal folder.
3.- Check the contents of your Linux personal folder from your windows host system.
4.- Working Filezilla Client, create a folder called fz4b and a file called fz4b.txt on your Linux personal folder.
5.- On your Linux personal folder, create a file called fz00_4b.txt. Copy the newly created file onto the Desktop of your windows host system.
6.- On your the Desktop of your Windows host system,  create a file called fz01_4b.txt. Copy the newly created file onto your Linux personal folder.
7.- Working Filezilla Client, remove fz4b.
